Where are you located?
My studio is located in the Mount Washington Neighborhood, just 15 min from Silverlake or DTLA. Exact address will be given upon confirmation of your appointment.
What are your hours?
I work Tuesday through Friday. At this time I do not offer weekend appointments, however I do offer evening appointments on select weeknights. If you don't see any availability please email me and I can see if there’s an opening or I can add you to my wait list in case of a cancellation.
Is there parking?
There is ample street parking.
Will I receive a reminder prior to my session?
Forty-eight hours before your session you will receive an email. Click the appropriate link in the email and you can let me know that I can expect to see you at your session. Easy!
What if I’m running late?
On the day of your appointment please arrive on time to enjoy your full session. If you are running late please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. If you are excessively late please be aware that we may have to reschedule.
What is your cancellation policy?
Should you need to reschedule or cancel (I know, life happens), I request a minimum of 24 hours' notice. For last minute cancellations, you will be charge 50% of the service booked. I require all clients who agree to the cancellation policy to have a credit card on file.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash or Card. I take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express
How should I come with my hair?
Come as you are! Theres no need to wash it before you come. If you are planning on wearing your hair naturally, it's best to come with it in its natural state so I can asses the texture pre-wash.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a healing technique where the practitioner channels energy to activate the natural healing processes of the person’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being. Hands are placed just off the body or lightly touching the body. The intention is to create deep relaxation, to bring balance to the chakras, and help cleanse the auric field.
Why is a trim the same price as a haircut?
Whether I'm cutting a centimeter or 4 inches, the amount of time it takes to wash, section, cut, and style is still the same.
Is the color you use free of harmful chemicals?
Yes! The color line I use is free from Ammonia, Resorcinal, and PPD. It is extremely gentle on the hair and scalp, gentle on the environment, has no harsh odors, all while delivering beautiful results!
What about bleach?
Bleach has gotten a bad reputation over these years, but when you remove ammonia from bleach it becomes much safer and milder on the hair. While I strive to achieve lightness in the hair without bleach, there are situations that do call for it. The lightener I use is ammonia-free in it and is infused with lavender and argan oils. I am always transparent with clients about what products I am using on their hair.
Are children allowed?
I find that, as a mother, you are able to fully drop into the ritual and experience the deep self care of the session when you come on your own. With that being said, it is up to you whether or not you want to bring your *pre-crawling baby or newborn with you to your session. While it is my intention to fully support mothers, my studio is not suitable for older babies and children.
Can I donate my hair?
All hair that is cut in the studio is donated to the Clean Wave Foundation, a non-profit organization that uses human and animal hair to clean up oil spills. If you would like to donate to a different cause I'd be happy to send it on your behalf to any of the following charities: ChildrenWithHairLoss.us (8+ inches), Wigs4Kids.com (8+ inches), LocksOfLove.org (10+ inches)
Do you do editorial work, special occasion hair, or weddings?

Can I return or exchange an item bought in the studio?
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with a purchase I will be happy to offer you an exchange. All purchases of brushes are final.e
